GFMA's mission is to promote the development of liquid, efficient, and resilient global capital markets to foster economic growth. It advocates for policies that enhance market integrity and efficiency on behalf of its members, which are represented by the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA) in the U.S. and Canada, the Association for Financial Markets in Europe (AFME), and the Asia Securities Industry & Financial Markets Association (ASIFMA).
