The Global Financial Markets Association (GFMA) brings together three of the world's leading financial trade associations to address the increasingly global nature of financial markets. It represents the combined interests of securities firms, banks, and asset managers. GFMA's mission is to promote the development of liquid, efficient, and resilient global capital markets to foster economic growth. It advocates for policies that enhance market integrity and efficiency on behalf of its members, which are represented by the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA) in the U.S. and Canada, the Association for Financial Markets in Europe (AFME), and the Asia Securities Industry & Financial Markets Association (ASIFMA).
