REGA aimed to create a peer-to-peer alternative to the traditional insurance market through its "crowdsurance" model. Built on the Ethereum blockchain, the platform was designed to allow communities of users to form pools to collectively cover each other's risks using smart contracts and its native RGA token. The project conducted an Initial Coin Offering (ICO) in 2018 with the mission of making risk coverage more transparent, accessible, and affordable by removing traditional intermediaries.
