Originally chartered in 1951 as the Duquesne-McKeesport Works Employees Federal Credit Union, the institution has since rebranded to Your Financial Community (YFCU). As a credit union, it operates as a not-for-profit financial cooperative owned and controlled by its members. Its mission is to provide its members with a full range of competitive and convenient financial services, including savings and checking accounts, personal loans, mortgages, and investment services, while maintaining a commitment to the local community. Membership is open to individuals who live, work, worship, or attend school in its designated service counties.
