The U.S. Faster Payments Council (FPC) is a membership organization dedicated to advancing faster payments in the United States. Conceived from the Federal Reserve's Faster Payments Task Force and officially launched in 2018, its mission is to facilitate a world-class payment system where Americans can safely and securely pay anyone, anywhere, at any time with near-immediate funds availability. The FPC brings together diverse stakeholders from across the payments ecosystem—including financial institutions, payment network operators, technology providers, and end-users—to collaborate, solve challenges, and drive the adoption of faster payment solutions.
