ThuthukaSA
Information by Research TrustFinance
The Thuthuka Education Upliftment Fund (TEUF), operating as ThuthukaSA, was established in 2002 by the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA). It functions as a public-private partnership non-profit organisation with a mission to promote transformation and address skill shortages within the accountancy profession. The fund achieves this by providing comprehensive bursaries to academically talented but financially disadvantaged African and Coloured students who are pursuing a career as a Chartered Accountant [CA(SA)]. The bursary covers tuition, accommodation, books, meals, and provides academic as well as non-academic support to ensure students' success.
