Founded in 1989, The USAA Educational Foundation is a 501(c)(3) public charity dedicated to promoting consumer financial literacy. It is a separate legal entity from the USAA family of companies. The foundation provides free, unbiased information and resources on topics such as budgeting, credit management, debt reduction, insurance, and investing to help individuals and families make informed financial decisions. Its primary audience is the military community, veterans, and their families, but its resources are available to the general public.
