Founded in 1992, The Options Industry Council (OIC) is an educational cooperative supported by OCC (The Options Clearing Corporation), the world's largest equity derivatives clearing organization, and the U.S. options exchanges. The OIC's mission is to provide free and unbiased education to investors and financial professionals about the benefits and risks of exchange-listed options. It accomplishes this through its website, webinars, podcasts, educational literature, and live events, without promoting any specific trading strategies or brokerage firms.
