The Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) is Australia's central bank and banknote issuing authority. Its primary duty is to conduct monetary policy and maintain a strong financial system. The RBA's functions include setting the nation's cash rate, working to maintain low and stable inflation, issuing and managing Australia's currency, and providing banking services to the Australian Government and other central banks.
