Qsuper was originally established in 1912 to provide superannuation (retirement savings) services for current and former Queensland Government employees and their spouses. Over the decades, it grew to become one of Australia's largest and most respected super funds, eventually opening its doors to the general public. On 28 February 2022, Qsuper completed a landmark merger with another major fund, Sunsuper, to form Australian Retirement Trust (ART). The merged entity manages retirement savings for over 2 million members. The mission is to help members secure their financial well-being in retirement through strong investment returns and member-focused services.
