Originally founded as the Bank of American Fork in 1913, People's Utah Bancorp (Former Ticker: PUB) served as the holding company for People's Intermountain Bank, which later rebranded to Altabank. The company focused on providing comprehensive retail and commercial banking services to individuals and businesses primarily within the state of Utah. It grew through both organic expansion and acquisitions of other local banks. In 2020, People's Utah Bancorp merged with Altabancorp, and in 2021, the combined entity was acquired by Glacier Bancorp, Inc. The bank continues to operate under the Altabank brand as the Utah division of Glacier Bank.
