Penta was a German fintech company founded in 2017 to provide digital business banking services tailored for SMEs, startups, and freelancers. Its mission was to simplify business banking through a fully online platform featuring fast account opening, expense management tools, team access with multiple debit cards, and accounting integrations. Initially focused on the German market, it later expanded its services to Italy. In July 2022, Penta was acquired by the French fintech company Qonto, and its services and brand are now fully integrated into the Qonto platform.
