The National Payment Corporation of Vietnam (NAPAS), established in 2004, is the intermediary payment service provider licensed by the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV). With the SBV and 15 major commercial banks in Vietnam as its main shareholders, NAPAS operates the nation's core retail payment infrastructure. Its primary mission is to build and manage a secure, stable, and efficient national payment system, providing standardized and convenient electronic payment products and services to banks, financial institutions, and the public, thereby promoting a cashless society in Vietnam.
