Originally founded in 1939 as Motorola Employees Credit Union (MECU), the institution was created to serve the employees of Motorola and their families. Over the years, it expanded its field of membership and in 2016, it rebranded to Andigo Credit Union to reflect its broader community reach. In 2020, Andigo Credit Union merged with Consumers Credit Union (CCU), a financial institution founded in 1930. The combined entity operates under the Consumers Credit Union name, continuing the mission of providing member-focused financial services with competitive rates and a commitment to financial wellness.
