Established in 1995, Merkezi Kayıt Kuruluşu A.Ş. (MKK) is Turkey's sole authorized Central Securities Depository (CSD). Its primary mission is to manage the dematerialized, book-entry system for all capital market instruments, ensuring their secure and efficient registry and settlement. MKK provides a wide range of post-trade services to financial institutions, issuers, and investors, including corporate actions processing, data and reporting services, and the development of crucial platforms like the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) and the Electronic General Meeting System (e-GEM). MKK plays a pivotal role in enhancing the transparency, reliability, and operational efficiency of the Turkish capital markets.
