The McGill International Portfolio Challenge (MIPC) is an annual, student-run competition founded in 2017 at McGill University's Desautels Faculty of Management. Its mission is to bridge the gap between academic theory and real-world practice in institutional asset management. The competition challenges university students worldwide to design innovative portfolio strategies for a case study based on a real pension fund or institutional investor.
