Originally chartered in 1957 to serve the civil service employees at Loring Air Force Base, Limestone Federal Credit Union has since expanded to serve all of Aroostook County, Maine. As a not-for-profit financial cooperative, it is owned and operated by its members. The credit union's mission is to provide a full range of affordable, high-quality financial products and services, including savings and checking accounts, various types of loans (personal, auto, mortgage), and online banking, all while promoting financial well-being within the community.
