Founded in 1997, Kreditprombank was one of Ukraine's largest banks, offering comprehensive services to both corporate and retail clients. The bank focused on corporate lending, retail banking products like deposits and loans, and international trade finance. Throughout its history, it was recognized for its stable development and significant presence in the Ukrainian financial market. However, following the financial crisis in Ukraine, the bank faced severe financial difficulties, leading to the National Bank of Ukraine declaring it insolvent in March 2015 and subsequently initiating liquidation procedures. The liquidation process was officially completed in July 2021.
