Founded in 1989 and previously listed on the Irish and London Stock Exchanges, IFG Group plc was a prominent financial services holding company. Its primary businesses included James Hay Partnership, a major UK provider of Self-Invested Personal Pensions (SIPPs), and Saunderson House, a London-based independent financial adviser and wealth manager for high-net-worth clients. In 2019, the group was acquired by private equity firm Epiris and taken private. Subsequently, its core assets were sold off: Saunderson House was sold to Rathbones Group plc in 2021, and James Hay was merged with Nucleus Financial in 2021 to form a new, larger platform.
