fondi kosovar per garanci kreditore (kosovo credit guarantee fund)
Information by Research TrustFinance
The Kosovo Credit Guarantee Fund (KCGF) was established in April 2016 under its own law passed by the Parliament of Kosovo, with initial funding support from USAID and KfW (the German Development Bank). Its primary mission is to support the country's economic growth by providing partial credit guarantees for loans issued by banks and other financial institutions to MSMEs. By mitigating the credit risk for lenders, the KCGF encourages lending to viable businesses that might otherwise be considered too risky due to a lack of sufficient collateral, thereby fostering job creation, increasing domestic production, and improving the overall business environment in Kosovo.
