Established in 1936, Feeder Associations of Alberta Ltd. (FAA) is a not-for-profit organization representing 45 local feeder associations across the province of Alberta. Its primary role is to administer the provincial government’s Feeder Associations Guarantee Program, also known as the Loan Guarantee Program (LGP). This program helps Alberta's cattle producers finance the purchase and feeding of livestock by providing access to competitive financing, thereby supporting the growth and stability of the province's beef industry.
