Spectra Credit Union was officially formed on January 1, 2023, through the merger of two established credit unions: Everett Credit Union (founded in 1915) and Merck Sharp & Dohme Federal Credit Union (founded in 1950). As a member-owned financial institution, its mission is to provide affordable, high-quality financial services to its members and communities. The credit union offers a comprehensive range of products, including checking and savings accounts, auto loans, mortgages, credit cards, and investment services, serving over 50,000 members across its service areas in Massachusetts and Pennsylvania.
