Founded in 1970, Ennistymon & District Credit Union Limited is a local, not-for-profit financial institution that operates on a cooperative basis. Its mission is to provide a safe place for savings and a source of affordable loans for its members within the community. Unlike commercial banks, it is owned and controlled by its members, with any surplus income returned to the members through dividends or reinvested to improve services.
