Founded in 1998 and headquartered in Sandy, Utah, Citywide Home Loans was a national mortgage lender that operated on a foundation of providing a personalized, "hometown" lending experience. The company offered a comprehensive suite of loan products, including conventional, FHA, VA, and USDA loans, as well as jumbo loans and refinancing solutions. It grew to operate in over 35 states with a focus on a people-centric approach to the mortgage process. In February 2023, Citywide Home Loans was acquired by Guaranteed Rate, Inc., one of the largest retail mortgage lenders in the US, and its operations, branches, and loan originators were integrated into the Guaranteed Rate platform.
