Founded in 1978 on the initiative of Confcommercio Varese, Ascomfidi Varese is a financial intermediary dedicated to supporting the local economic fabric. Its primary mission is to facilitate access to credit for micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) by providing guarantees to banks and financial institutions. This reduces the risk for lenders and helps member companies obtain loans, credit lines, and other forms of financing on more favorable terms. As a cooperative, it operates for the mutual benefit of its associated member businesses.
