The company partners with factories to set up and operate fair-priced retail shops directly within the factory compounds. This model allows workers to purchase groceries, personal care items, and other daily necessities on credit throughout the month. The total cost of their purchases is then conveniently and automatically deducted from their monthly salary. In addition to providing access to essential goods, Apon offers a points-based system where purchases contribute to free health and life insurance coverage for the workers.
