Allies for Community Business, formerly known as Accion Chicago, is a non-profit community development financial institution (CDFI). Founded in 1994, its mission is to provide the resources entrepreneurs need to start and grow businesses that create jobs and build wealth in their communities. The organization focuses on serving under-resourced communities, including entrepreneurs of color, women, and those with low-to-moderate incomes, by offering flexible business loans, expert business coaching, and valuable networking opportunities.
