Founded in 2004, the "Associazione Italiana per l’Esercizio dei Diritti degli Azionisti" (AIEDA) is an independent, non-profit organization focused on the protection of shareholder rights in Italy. Its mission is to safeguard and enhance the value of investments for institutional investors, both Italian and foreign, by promoting active shareholding and sound corporate governance practices. AIEDA provides services such as delegated proxy voting representation at shareholder meetings, engagement with company management, and monitoring of corporate governance issues to ensure minority shareholders' interests are protected.
