Established in 2009 by students from the University of Nairobi and Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, The Actuarial Students' Society of Kenya (ASSK) is a professional student body. Its primary mission is to unite students pursuing or interested in Actuarial Science across Kenya and beyond. The society focuses on creating opportunities for its members by organizing networking events, career fairs, workshops, and mentorship programs, thereby enhancing their professional development and facilitating their transition into the corporate environment.
