The Staple Inn Actuarial Society (SIAS) is one of the oldest actuarial societies in the United Kingdom, established to provide a forum for members of the actuarial profession, particularly students, to discuss topics of professional interest. Affiliated with the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFoA), SIAS organizes regular sessional meetings, talks, and social events. Its primary mission is to support the professional development and networking of younger actuaries and students by creating opportunities for learning and discussion outside of formal work and study environments.
