Its primary mission is to provide banks with innovative solutions for managing their balance sheets, including attracting and retaining large-dollar deposits, managing liquidity, and generating fee income. Its most well-known services, ICS® (Insured Cash Sweep®) and CDARS® (Certificate of Deposit Account Registry Service®), allow banks to offer their customers access to multi-million-dollar FDIC insurance on their deposits by spreading the funds across a network of other member institutions.
