The National Council on Compensation Insurance (NCCI) is a non-profit, licensed rating, advisory, and statistical organization that serves the US workers' compensation insurance industry. Founded in 1923, NCCI gathers and analyzes extensive data, develops and recommends insurance rates and loss costs, and provides a wide range of tools and services. Its mission is to foster a healthy workers' compensation system by providing objective, high-quality data and analysis to insurers, regulators, and other industry stakeholders, promoting system stability and fairness.
