Originally founded in 1997 as a non-governmental organization (NGO), Fundeser (Fundación para el Desarrollo Socioeconómico Rural) transitioned into a regulated microfinance institution, Microfinanciera Fundeser S.A., in 2013. Its mission is to promote the sustainable socio-economic development of Nicaragua by offering responsible and innovative financial products and services. The company primarily focuses on providing credit for agriculture, livestock, commerce, and small industry, aiming to improve the quality of life for its clients and their families.
