Izba Rozliczeniowa Giełd Towarowych (IRGiT) is a central counterparty clearing house established in 2010. It is authorized and supervised by the Polish Financial Supervision Authority (KNF) in accordance with the European EMIR regulation. IRGiT's primary mission is to ensure the safety and efficiency of transactions concluded on the markets operated by the Polish Power Exchange (TGE). The company provides clearing, settlement, and risk management services for transactions involving electricity, natural gas, property rights, and agricultural products, acting as a guarantor for the fulfillment of all cleared trades.
