It does not provide financing directly but acts as a worldwide association for its members. FCI's mission is to facilitate international trade by providing a legal and business framework that allows member factoring companies to transact business securely and efficiently across borders. It has created a network of members in over 90 countries and provides rules, best practices, and a proprietary communication system (ediFACTORING) to support the global factoring industry.
