Founded in 1986, the Confederação Brasileira das Cooperativas de Crédito (Confebras) is the highest institutional representative body for the credit cooperative sector in Brazil. Its mission is to represent, defend, and foster the interests of the National Credit Cooperative System (SNCC), working to strengthen the cooperative model through political and institutional advocacy, promoting education, and supporting the sustainable development of its member credit unions across the country.
