Founded in 1993 in Estelí, Nicaragua, the Center for the Promotion of Local Development (CEPRODEL) is a non-profit civil association. Its mission is to contribute to sustainable human development by strengthening the capacities of local actors, including families, communities, and organizations. The organization focuses on promoting social, economic, political, and cultural change for marginalized populations through projects related to gender equality, food security, environmental sustainability, and local economic empowerment.
