Founded in November 2012 in Berlin, the Bundesverband Crowdfunding e.V. (German Crowdfunding Association) is the central representative body for the crowdfunding sector in Germany. Its mission is to promote and professionalize the concept of crowdfunding by serving as a central point of contact for the government, media, and other institutions. The association represents the interests of crowdfunding platforms, investors, and project initiators, working to create a favorable regulatory environment and foster public understanding and trust in crowdfunding as a legitimate form of finance.
