Barjupur eSeva Kendra operates as a franchise under the Common Services Centers (CSC) scheme, a key initiative of the Digital India programme by the Government of India. It functions as a single-point access center for a multitude of public and private services in a rural area. The center is run by a Village Level Entrepreneur (VLE) and aims to provide essential services such as Aadhaar card updates, PAN card applications, utility bill payments, insurance premium collection, banking and financial services, and various other e-governance services, thereby promoting digital literacy and inclusion.
