Founded in 2015 by Ishaan Malhi, Trussle was one of the UK's first online mortgage brokers, with a mission to make the mortgage process simpler, faster, and more transparent. The company used a combination of technology and human advisers to compare thousands of mortgage products and provide free advice to homebuyers and those looking to remortgage. In July 2021, Trussle was acquired by the US digital mortgage company Better. Subsequently, in 2023, the Trussle brand was closed, and all its services and customers were migrated to Habito, another UK-based online mortgage broker.
