In 2015, the company focused its business model exclusively on wholesale lending and rebranded to United Wholesale Mortgage (UWM). UWM's mission is to empower independent mortgage brokers across the country by providing them with advanced technology, fast closing times, and competitive loan products, thereby enabling them to better serve their clients. The company went public in 2021 and is recognized as the top wholesale and purchase lender in the U.S.
