PEG Ghana Ltd, formerly part of the PEG Africa group, is a leading asset-financing company that provides solar home systems and other useful products to off-grid consumers in Ghana. The company's business model is centered on a pay-as-you-go (PAYG) system, allowing customers to make small, regular payments via mobile money to finance their purchases, making clean energy and life-enhancing products accessible and affordable. Founded in 2013, PEG Africa grew to become one of the largest off-grid solar providers in West Africa. In late 2019, PEG Africa was acquired by Bboxx, a UK-based next-generation utility, to combine strengths and accelerate the provision of energy and other services across the continent. PEG Ghana's operations are now fully integrated into Bboxx's Ghanaian business.
