Founded in 1916, Municipal Credit Union (MCU) is one of the oldest and largest credit unions in New York. As a member-owned, not-for-profit financial institution, its mission is to provide its members with a full range of affordable and high-quality financial products and services, including savings accounts, checking accounts, loans (mortgage, auto, personal), and credit cards. Membership is primarily open to employees and retirees of New York City, state and federal agencies located in NYC, and various healthcare and educational organizations within the city.
