Founded in 2006, ItzCash was one of India's first "Multi-Purpose Prepaid Card" companies authorized by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). In 2017, US-based Ebix Inc. acquired a majority stake in the company, which was subsequently rebranded to EbixCash. Today, EbixCash is a leading financial exchange in India, providing a comprehensive portfolio of services including domestic and international money transfers, bill payments, mobile recharges, travel services (flights, hotels, buses), foreign exchange, and prepaid gift cards through its extensive agent network and digital platforms.
