The International Institute of Green Finance (IIGF) was established by the Central University of Finance and Economics (CUFE) in Beijing. It operates as an independent, non-profit, university-affiliated think tank dedicated to the field of green finance. Its mission is to advance the academic study of green finance, provide robust policy advice to government bodies, and offer consulting services and data products to financial institutions and corporations, thereby supporting China's transition to a sustainable, low-carbon economy.
