Sportclub Freital e. V. is a non-profit registered association ("eingetragener Verein" or e.V.) in Germany, officially formed on July 1, 2020, through the merger of three local sports clubs: Hainsberger Sportverein e.V., SV Motor Freital e.V., and SG Stahl Freital e.V. (which previously incorporated the "Freitaler Sportverein e.V."). The club's mission is to promote sports, particularly for youth, and foster a sense of community in the Freital region. It offers a diverse range of sports, with a strong focus on football, but also including activities like swimming, volleyball, athletics, and gymnastics.
