Founded in 1994, The Audre Lorde Project (ALP) is a community organizing center based in New York City. Its mission is to serve as a home for LGBTSTGNC People of Color and their allies, focusing on community organizing, political education, and creating social and economic justice. ALP addresses a wide range of issues, including racial justice, police reform, immigrant rights, and access to healthcare, through member-led programs and campaigns.
