The Wheaton College Student Investment Fund (WCSIF) is an experiential learning program established in 2004 through a generous gift from an alumnus. The fund's mission is to educate students about security analysis and portfolio management by providing them with the responsibility of managing a real-money portfolio, which is a portion of the college's endowment. The fund exclusively invests in domestic equities and is managed by a team of student portfolio managers and analysts who conduct rigorous research to make informed investment decisions, aiming to outperform the S&P 500 benchmark.
