Founded in 2019 by George Peppou and Tim Noakesmith, Vow is a food technology company on a mission to invent and manufacture sustainable, nutritious, and diverse cultivated meat products. Unlike competitors focusing on replicating common meats like beef or chicken, Vow takes a "multi-species" approach, exploring the cells of various animals to create entirely new food experiences. The company has developed a library of cell lines from different species and uses its technology to grow meat in bioreactors. Vow launched its first product, a cultivated Japanese quail, in Singapore in 2023 under its premium brand, Forged.
