Established in 1853, the UCC Church Building & Loan Fund (CB&LF) is a financial ministry of the United Church of Christ (UCC). As a certified Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI), its mission is to help congregations and faith-based organizations create and improve physical and digital spaces for ministry. The fund achieves this by providing loans for real estate acquisition, new construction, and renovations, as well as offering building planning and capital fundraising consultation services. It raises capital for its lending activities by offering investment opportunities to individuals, churches, and organizations.
